This is our customizable wildlife specific PCB tracker which is sealed in an electrical resin as well as a rubber coating finish to offer protection from moisture, abrasion, corrosion, and skidding/slipping. This is one of the only VHF wildlife tracking pulsers on the market which allows the user to attach their own battery, leaving plenty of room for any added weight.
External +/- wires allow you to attach this transmitter directly to a suitable battery of your choice. Alternatively, this transmitter is also available with an integrated micro magnetic reed switch which allows you to turn the transmitter on and off via a small magnet.
Remarkably, this tracker is only 13mm x 15mm, weighs less than .2 grams and is almost as thin as paper, the PCB is .1mm in thickness, despite its size it’s signal can easily be picked up from over 30-50 kilometres away.
A tiny magnetic reed switch is mounted on the transmitter and pulse transmission begins immediately once the magnetic is removed.

Just like traditional VHF telemetry & Tracking Transmitters, this transmitter emits a steady radio pulse for the entirety of it's lifespan, VHF tracking transmitters can be picked up by receivers from extremely far distances using VHF receivers you may already be using in the field, for even greater RF output and signal strength, 3v models will always out-perform the 1.5v variants (the trade-off is size and mass). Specific frequencies are noted on your purchased transmitter or provided with your order.
